brett corpe
Spartans On Ice Player Development Coach
Brett Corpe, Owner/Operator of Revolution Hockey Training since 2012, has been entrenched in athletics his whole life. Starting from age three learning to skate, to getting hockey hand-me-downs from his cousin, playing his first year of hockey, and finally traveling across Canada following a sport and a dream. That dream lead him to place roots in Sherwood Park with his wife, where they raise three amazing kids.
After choosing to hang up his own skates to raise a family, he found a renewed passion for the sport through coaching. His formal hockey and power skating training, playing, and coaching experiences help propel the growth and development of RHT, starting with summer power skating camps. RHT has grown into year round camps, treadmill training, and other on ice events. Brett first trained on a skating treadmill over 20 years ago while training for his own game, immediately seeing the benefits in his career. Now he seizes the opportunity to help others in their development, while maintaining a goal to keep elite hockey and ringette training affordable for the average family. Brett firmly believes that each player deserves top level training and strives to create the perfect balance of instruction and value.

robin corpe
Spartans Joga Coach
Robin Corpe, co-owner of RHT, wife to Brett, mom to three busy teenagers and JOGA coach, took longer to find that inner spark. Always a natural athlete, but plagued by injury, all sports came to a screeching halt in high school. In her journey to heal herself, physically and emotionally, she found yoga. As a mom of multi-sport athletes, and a former elite athlete that understands the repercussions of persistent and untreated injuries, she saw the need for injury prevention, and knew yoga was missing something. She went looking for the perfect program, and discovered one that offered not only yoga, injury prevention and rehabilitation, but so much more. JOGA is a movement system made up of the benefits of yoga combined with the biomechanics of sport, created specifically for an athlete's body and an athlete's mindset. JOGA enhances athletic performance, improves concentration, decreases recovery time and ultimately, transforms an athlete's game.
colin james, mscpt, bsckin
Spartans Injury Prevention Specialist
People might say that Colin just copied his sister Lindsay into a career as a physiotherapist but no self respecting younger sibling would ever admit to that, so here’s the real story: As a collegiate basketball player Colin went through a career-ending knee injury. After multiple knee surgeries during his undergraduate schooling he discovered how much impact physio had on his recovery. He decided to pursue a master’s degree from the University of Alberta so he could make a positive impact on people dealing with similar issues… and learn a few tricks to take care of his own knees along the way. He has taken his passion for learning beyond his degree as he continues to advance his skills in keeping with the philosophies of Leading Edge. His strong post graduate training in the area of orthopedics, acupuncture and radial shockwave, combined with an elite level athletic background, and more than a dash of compassion means that Colin is ready to play ball with any injury you might be facing.
