Ben Currie
U13 Head Coach
Now a resident of Sherwood Park, Ben grew up and played his minor hockey in Gibbons including Midget AA (Provincial and League Title) and 4 years of Junior B where he was a 2x CJHL All Star and team captain.
Ben has coached competitive hockey and ball hockey over the last 7 years and is currently the AC for the Edmonton Kings U13 Elite Ball Hockey Club with hopes of a Provincial and Western Championship this year and a National Championship at the eventual U15 level.
Ben has a passion for coaching and development and believes on and off ice growth/development are not mutually exclusive and that coaches at all levels have the ability to affect positive outcomes for their players that far exceed those on the ice.
A natural competitor, Ben also has a team first approach; "Team beats talent, when talent is not a team"
