SPARTANS MILESTONES

FRHCS Spartans began playing in 2022/23 winter season in the Premiere Hockey League (PHL) with the U15 Division. Our first season was one of growth and development not only from the front office side, but from the coaching and player development side. This special group of individual players and families grew a lot. 2023 saw the Spartans grow to 3 teams including one of the first U16 teams in the PHL. It was another great year of growth this year and we were very excited to have U13 and U16 join the Spartans. 2024 will be the first season for the Spartans in the U18 age group.

Jayden was part of the 2022/23 PHL U15 Minor Championship team and finished his 2 years with the Spartans as #1 all time in goals (43) and points (67) and #3 all time in assists (24). Jayden was named Captain in his final season with the Spartans in 2023/24.

#13 Sloan Reid - Assistant Captain

Sloan was part of the 2022/23 PHL U15 Minor Championship team and finished his 2 years with the Spartans as #2 all time in goals (38) and points (62) and tied for #3 in assists (24) Sloan was an Assistant Captain for both seasons with the Spartans

Ryan Whidden - Head Coach

2022-2025
Ryan Whidden was the first Head Coach in Spartans history. His coaching resume and his ability to work with athletes and prepare them for the next level is something we are proud of.
